The following menu is a sampling of our most popular dishes. We create specials weekly and can prepare just about anything your heart desires. Most menu items are interchangeable, and we invite you to mix and match sauces and main items or even ingredients. For example, you may want Chicken Teriyaki, but only see that preparation under the seafood menu as "Salmon Teriyaki"; this accommodation can easily be made. Another example would be using the preparation of Swedish Meatballs (under the Beef Menu) with ground chicken or turkey if you don't eat red meat and/or prepared with fat free milk rather than cream if you desire low-fat meals. Beef

Boeuf A La Bourguignonne
Classic French preparation of tender, succulent beef cubes braised in Burgundy wine
and beef stock with pearl onions, baby carrots and button mushrooms.
Served over egg noodles (no additional side).

Hungarian Goulash
I use a terrific Wolfgang Puck recipe for this classic Hungarian braised beef dish loaded
with onions and flavored with caraway, toasted paprika, garlic and a touch of Balsamic vinegar.
Traditionally served with spaetzle; (dumplings) or egg noodles.
This is one of our most requested comfort foods.

Award Winning Beef (or Turkey) and Three Bean Chili (S)
Lean ground, seasoned beef (or turkey), vegetables and 3-beans simmered for hours
in traditional spices with one secret ingredient (cocoa powder). Oops, guess it’s not a secret anymore!
Goes great with rice & corn bread!

Pot Roast
with Yukon Gold potatoes and root vegetables.

My Mom taught me this one, and you’ve got to try it! Another comfort food classic.
Served with freshly baked rolls.

Steak Dianne
Thinly sliced tenderloin of beef sautéed with shallots and served in a creamy, brandy-mustard demi-glace sauce.
Classic elegance. Great with our roasted garlic mashed potatoes!

Mom's Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
Green cabbage leaves stuffed with seasoned beef, pork, veal, rice and herbs, placed
on a “rack” of thick sliced bacon and braised in a white wine tomato sauce enhanced with veal demi glace.
An uncontested personal favorite, served with garlic bread.

Stuffed Peppers (NA)
Tri-colored peppers, stuffed with a similar mix as the above cabbage rolls, topped with
three cheeses and baked in a hearty red sauce. Served with Garlic Bread.
(Can be prepared with ground lamb & topped with feta and calamata olives or
prepared Mexican style with Chorizo, spices and Jack cheese if desired.)
We also do a great vegetarian stuffed pepper
(see the Vegetarian section below).

Beef Stroganoff
Beef Tenderloin tips sautéed and topped with a sherry-Dijon cream sauce
and smothered with mushrooms. Served with buttered egg noodles.

Meatballs in Marinara Sauce (NA)
Ground, beef, pork, veal seasoned with Italian herbs and spices and
simmered in hearty red sauce. Served with garlic bread. Comes with or without macaroni.

Sausage and Peppers
Sweet and hot beef or pork sausage with tomato-garlic braised peppers and caramelized onions.

Teriyaki Beef with Vegetables
Stir-fried tender beef sirloin tips with your favorite veggies made with our house teriyaki sauce.
Grilled pineapple on the side (of course, we can also do this with chicken, pork or seafood!).

Shepherd’s Pie
Seasoned and simmered ground beef (or lamb) with mushrooms, peas, carrots and onions,
topped with garlicky mashed potatoes and cheddar cheese; baked till golden brown. Retro at its best!

Swedish Meatballs with Cremini Mushrooms over Egg Noodles
Everybody loves these!!! Creamy, yummy and quite addictive, if I do say so myself.

Meatloaf
Options: Classic beef-pork-veal, turkey, Cajun (s), Italian, Mexican (s), Apple, or Vegetarian Meatloaf

I’ve perfected this classic over the years. Great with your choice of gravy or a tomato-cumin glaze.

Grilled Marinated London Broil or Flank Steak: or Sirloin Tips
House marinade with soy, ginger, garlic, ketchup, coca cola, brown sugar and a secret blend of herbs.

You can substitute any of the following w/ Filet Mignon or any other desired cut of beef.

Sautéed or Grilled Rib Eye with one of the following sauces:

Red wine demi glace, Gorgonzola cream sauce, Hoisin bbq. sauce, Au poivre brandy cream sauce,
Bourbon sauce, or Balsamic-roasted red pepper and caramelized onion ragout.

Blue Cheese-Crusted Filet Mignon
The title says it all. Served with a red wine demi glace.

Roast Beef with Red Wine Gravy
House-rubbed and slow-roasted top round of beef, cooked rare and sliced thin. It’s like buttah!

Churrasco Beef with Chimichurri
Argentine classic. Skirt steak marinated for 24 hours in cilantro, parsley, mint, garlic, olive oil and
vinegar, prepared on the grill to your liking and served with the same refreshing sauce on the side.

Braised Short Ribs of Beef
Tender, Prime beef short ribs braised for three-hours in our house Asian-style sauce and
glazed with the same reduced sauce under the broiler. These will be your new favorite ribs. Sticky and tasty!

Babootjie
A South African classic. Sautéed ground beef seasoned with curry, paprika and cider vinegar,
topped with a custard made with egg, diced bread, cream and cheddar cheese and baked casserole style.
Another one of my favorites. Try it with Latin flavors for a twist!

Moussaka
Greek classic. Ground beef or lamb seasoned with garlic, cinnamon and tomato, and layered with
sautéed eggplant, spinach, feta and parmesan cheeses, topped with a rich béchamel and baked to perfection.

Classic Beef Stew
A favorite All-American stew done right.
This stew will warm your soul so much you’ll crave it even in the middle of July!
Carrots, onions, celery, potatoes, and top quality beef stewed for hours.

Poultry

(V = Try with veal if you like)

Chicken Giambotta
Silky chicken breast and Italian sausage simmered in a white wine demi glace
with the addition of sweet steak peppers, sauteed potatoes and caramelized onions.

Pretzel Crusted Chicken with Madeira Pan Sauce
Honey-brined chicken breast topped with a Dijon mustard, mayonnaise and
Parmigiano Reggiano topping and crusted with crushed pretzels and baked.
Served with a delicious Madeira pan sauce.

Enchiladas de Pollo y Queso
White (or dark) meat chicken & veggies wrapped in chili- soaked toasted corn tortillas
topped with red chili sauce and Jack cheese and broiled till hot and gooey.

Turkey Meat Loaf
Perfected in Foodini’s kitchen and now a big hit amongst steady clientele.
Served with a tomato-cumin glaze or turkey gravy.

Stir Fried Chicken and Vegetables with Ginger-Soy Sauce
Stir fried chicken breast with your favorite veggies made with our house ginger-soy sauce.
Served with white or brown basmati rice and grilled pineapple on the side.

Balsamic Chicken
Thick, juicy all-natural chicken breast sautéed with caramelized onions and peppers in a balsamic-garlic sauce.

Chicken Marsala (V)
Chicken breast sautéed with mushrooms, shallots and garlic in our signature Marsala wine sauce.

Herbed Chicken Piccata (V)
Sautéed chicken in a white wine lemon sauce with parsley and white-balsamic-soaked capers.

Indian Curried Chicken
Chicken breast with peppers and onions in a yellow curry sauce topped with shredded coconut and banana.
I love this dish!

Thai Curried Chicken
Chicken breast prepared with a red curry coconut milk sauce with ginger and lemongrass.
Delicious with our Jasmine rice and stir fried long beans.

Turkey and Three Bean Chili with Vegetables
A delicious turkey and three-bean chili with tasty seasonal vegetables.

Chicken Cacciatore
Fricassee of chicken breast (or thigh, if you like dark meat), peppers, onions and
mushrooms, braised in a white wine tomato sauce.

Chicken Pot Pie
All American classic. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Chicken Francese (V)
Chicken cutlets coated in a Pecorino Romano egg batter and sautéed in olive oil.
Topped with a creamy white wine, lemon sauce.

Grilled B.B.Q. Chicken Breast
Brined for succulence and grilled with our delicious house-made barbeque sauce.

Chicken Parmesan (V)
Breaded white meat, pan-fried and topped with marinara, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.

Parmigiano Reggiano Crusted Chicken
Breast of free-range chicken pounded evenly and crusted heavily with Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese
and pan-roasted till golden brown and delicious. Comes with a sweet-spicy tomato jam on the side.

Chicken Scampi
White wine, garlic and herbs. Simple is sometimes best. (Of course, we’ll make this with shrimp if you’d like.)

House Chicken (V)
Pan-seared garlic chicken breast with mushrooms, artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes and basil.

Spicy Jamaican Jerk Chicken
Marinated in jerk seasonings, grilled and served with tropical fruit salsa.

Hawaiian Baked Chicken
Boneless, skinless chicken thigh (or breast) with tri-colored peppers, pineapple, dried apricots, maui onion and ginger. Braised in a sweet & sour sherry sauce.

Chicken Marbella
One of my personal favorites!
A Mediterranean medley of dark meat chicken, braised in garlic,
wine, capers, sugar, vinegar, oregano, olives and prunes.
This gets better as it sits. Great for lunches, too!

Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya
The New Orleans Paella! With peppers, onions, dark (or white) meat chicken, sausage & baked in Basmati Rice.

Pork

Baby-back BBQ'd Spare Ribs
These ribs are brined 8 hours, dry-rubbed and slow cooked, then slathered with
our house bbq sauce and grilled. This is comfort food with an attitude right here!

Sweet and Sour Pork
Pork tenderloin sautéed with tri-colored peppers, pineapple, dried apricots,
Maui onion and ginger in a sweet - sour sherry sauce.

Maple-Glazed Pork Tenderloin
Slow roasted and basted several times while cooking, this roast will tantalize your taste buds.

Grilled Pork Tenderloin
With caramelized date and Port wine shallot sauce. Got this one from Bobby Flay. It’s GOOD!

Cajun Spice Rubbed and Panko Breaded, Pan-Seared Pork Chops with Charcutiere Sauce
Succulent pork rib chops seasoned, breaded and sautéed in butter & olive oil, topped with a classic
French sauce made with veal demi glace, Dijon mustard and chopped gherkins.
Served with roasted garlic Yukon Gold mashed potatoes.

Seafood

Most of the following selections can be replaced with your favorite choice of fish.
I will use your initial assessment as a guide to substitute any fish not available.

Flounder Florentine
Fresh flounder topped with spinach & Gruyere cheese, baked in a
white wine-mushroom cream sauce (try it with chicken, too!)

Blackened Catfish Filets with Mango-Herb Relish (S)
This dish has more spice than heat and would make Paul Prudhomme proud.
Try with pork or chicken breast, as well.

Honey-Macadamia Mahi Mahi with Sweet Soy Glaze
We add a bit of Panko bread crumbs to lighten up the Macadamia. It’s terrifically textural.

Teriyaki Glazed Salmon
Marinated in house-made teriyaki and grilled.
Awesome with seafood, beef, pork or chicken! Grilled pineapple and scallion garnish.

Sautéed Red Snapper
Prepared with white wine, basil pesto sauce and grape tomato confit.

Seafood Au Gratin
Shrimp, scallops, jumbo-lump crab and fresh fish topped with
a sherry-mushroom cream sauce and parmesan gratin. Decadent!

Broiled Grouper with Moroccan Chermoula
Cilantro, garlic, paprika, lime & cumin dance in this brightly flavored dish. Perfect on chicken, as well.

Tilapia Provencal
Parmigiano-Reggiano, 18-hour oven-dried tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, white wine, fresh herbs,
and fresh Ciabatta crumbs. If you’re not a seafood lover, this dish will convert you!

Pan-Seared Salmon with Orange Glaze
Red wine, citrus juices, honey, soy sauce and cider vinegar make up the glaze for this delicious reduction.

Creole Shrimp and Chicken (S)
“Kicked up notches unknown to mankind” Oh, my gosh, I just quoted Emeril! Great with rice.

Chilean Sea Bass with Pistachio-Herb Crust
Tropical fruit salsa or tomato confit.

Jumbo Shrimp with Pesto over Linguini
Fresh basil pesto is one of our specialties. Substitute chicken for shrimp or try it “naked” if you like.

Shrimp Cakes with Lobster Sauce
Served along with roasted garlicIsraeli couscous.

Salmon en Papillote
Atlantic salmon filetwrapped in parchment paper with julienned leeks,
carrots, zucchini and fresh herbsin a white wine lemon cream sauce.

Jumbo-Lump Crab Cakes
Baked, not fried- served with Chipotle remoulade (s) and lemon wedges.

Pasta

Rigatoni ala Bolognese
Al dente macaroni in a thick, full-bodied meat and vegetable
sauce enhanced with wine and milk and simmered for hours.

Farfalle Noodles with Lamb Ragout
House-ground lamb simmered for hours in a red wine, rosemary, tomato base.
Topped with Feta cheese, Calamata olives, roasted eggplant, zucchini and oven-dried tomatoes.
This is a great cold-weather pasta. It’s Bolognese, Foodinized!

Veal Saltimbocca
Tender, milk-fed veal rolled with grilled eggplant, prosciutto, Fontina cheese and sage in a Madeira wine pan sauce.

Veal Osso Buco
Veal shank braised in white wine and house-made veal stock until fall-off-the-bone tender.
The best you’ll ever have! Great with Parmesan Risotto or roasted garlic mashed potatoes.
We do this preparation with Lamb shank as well, but use red wine instead of white.
It’s scrumptious!

Rack of Lamb Persillade
Crusted with mustard, garlic, parsley and bread crumb, cooked to perfection
and served with a Cabernet & Port wine demi-glace.
